NVIDIA CloudXR 3.0 Setup with Oculus Quest 2 on Windows 10

Connect your Quest 2 to your Windows machine and navigate to This PC->Quest

Create a file called CloudXRLaunchOptions.txt

In that file put this:

But replace the stars with the IP address of the Windows machine you will be using as your Windows server.

You need a Windows 10 machine and it needs to have a compatible graphics card. You’re going to make your desktop the server and your Oculus Quest 2 is going to be the client.

Download Android Studio.

You’re going to need it to get your hands on adb.exe. You are going to use adb to install a .apk file to your Oculus. Oculus runs the Android OS.

Here’s my install log, just in case you need it, but you shouldn’t need this. I just usually like to save these somewhere in case later I need to find something, or I need to troubleshoot the install because something went wrong, or, most likely, I want to find some command line tool that came with the install. I’ll just search this log instead of trying to search my entire C:\ drive.
